Yorkshire CCC v Lancashire - Roses encounter abandoned
YORKSHIRE’S Bob Willis Trophy match against Lancashire at Emerald Headingley has been abandoned.
An early call-off was made at 10.30am, half-an-hour before the scheduled start, due to torrential rain.
Over 200 overs were lost in the contest, which was a non-event as Yorkshire scored 260 in their first innings, Lancashire replying with 195-5.
Yorkshire are likely to remain second in the North Group at the climax of today’s round and host Leicestershire in their final match early next month.
