Yorkshire Leagues: Ingram and Mynett prove six-hit heroes

JCT600 BRADFORD: Jamaican Lorenzo Ingram smashed the final ball for six as Farsley secured a thrilling one-wicket opening day win over Bradford & Bingley at Red Lane.

The home side had needed 12 from the last over and the left-hander obliged by twice striking balls from Chris Thompson over the ropes as he put the seal on a brilliant innings of 153 not out.

Ingram’s 112-ball knock was peppered with nine sixes and 15 fours and it enabled Farsley to avenge their record defeat in last season’s Priestley Cup final by chasing down Bradford & Bingley’s 266-6, which was built on half-centuries from Simon Davies (70) and Thompson (63).
