Animal fighting is banned in Brazil. It is the second time Rochemback has fallen foul of the authorities.

The Brazilian's farm was raided six years ago and several fighting cocks were removed.

Rochemback played 68 times for Middlesbrough between 2005 and 2008 and helped them reach the 2006 Europa League final.

He also played for Bracelona and Sporting Lisbon and was capped seven times by Brazil.
