Arrival of Tom Adeyemi offers Alan Stubbs competition for Rotherham United's midfield
The 24-year-old was out of favour in South Wales - having spent last season on loan at Leeds United - and will stay on loan at the AESSEAL New York Stadium for the rest of the campaign.
Adeyemi, who becomes the Millers’ 11th capture of the close season, could make his debut in tomorrow’s home game with Brentford, among his former clubs.

“He is a box-to-box player who has got great energy. He will give us something that I feel will certainly add to that midfield.
“It will be a loan for now. He’s a very good player and one we are delighted to get the services of. He is a team player and his work ethic is very good.
“He is also good on the ball and will win the ball back.”
After starting his career at Norwich, the athletic midfielder spent loan spells at Bradford, Oldham and the Bees before joining Birmingham City permanently in June 2013 - before switching to Cardiff in August 2014.
But he went onto move to Leeds on a season-long loan with a view to a full-time transfer in July 2015, making 24 games in total, although he returned to South Wales at the end of the season.
