Verdict: A disappointingly rather predictable performance from the Reds. It was always going to be a tough year when you look back at our recruitment in the summer and loaning in a load of inexperienced but talented kids has definitely come back to bite us, in my opinion. A big second half of the season is definitely required in order for us to pull away from trouble towards the bottom of the League One table.

Where has this season gone right/wrong? Wrong – definitely the close-season recruitment. Right – the signing of Adam Hammill in the autumn.

Best moment: Lee Johnson tweeting about geese.

Lowest moment: Dropping to the bottom of the league.

Best and worst opposition teams: As for the best? Not a clue – all teams have been awful in this division. Worst? Whoever we have beaten.

What needs to be done in transfer window: Plenty.

Predicted finish: An optimistic 16th.
