Barnsley FC announce additions to coaching staff

The duo will replace Max Senft and Matt Rose, who left at the end of last month by mutual consent and will both assist head coach Gerhard Struber.

Austrian-born Luisser, 40, has coached in Austria with Red Bull Salzburg, SV Grödig and SCR Altach and also had a brief spell coaching in Germany with FC Erzgebirge.

The former midfielder has also spent three years within the Austrian international set-up.

Aged just 27, German-born Eckert coached Bayern Munich U17s last year and has also worked with youth teams at FC Koln, RB Salzburg and RB Leipzig .

The pair have linked up with Struber for the club's week-long training camp at St George's Park, which began on Monday
