Birmingham 1 Huddersfield Town 2: Terriers deserved victory, insists Robins
A visibly raging Clark took no positives whatsoever from an afternoon which saw his side’s winless run at home extended to 11 games following an abject showing.
The visitors went ahead early on through Oliver Norwood and were coasting when Adam Clayton smashed home a second, with Clark’s side showing nothing in return until Olly Lee’s consolation deep into added time.

“It looks like we have people who fear playing in front of their own supporters. It’s outrageous. The fans have not turned on us.
“The players have shown at certain times they can play at home.
“Their goalkeeper probably had his easiest day in football. You need to have home fans on the edge of their seats, we’re not doing that. It’s nonsensical.”

The Terriers were poor in their 3-0 midweek defeat at home to Nottingham Forest but bounced back in style at St Andrew’s.
“I thought we controlled the game for long parts and deserved it,” he said. “But it would have been great to have the clean sheet.
“They are great lads, I really enjoy working with the group. They’re young and I thought we were good and controlled the game.

He added: “We’d like to be challenging for promotion. Are we there yet? No, not at all.
“We will try and get some run of games and wins against teams around us. They are all tough matches coming up, mid-table or not we want to catch the team above us.”
