“It was energy sapping with the pitch,” Adkins said.
“We started brightly and Conor Sammon has had a couple of chances.
“Their keeper got man of the match for them and has made some good saves and we should have had a penalty.

“It was a war of attrition. Both sides have put a lot of effort in. We had seven or eight chances in the first half. In the end we’ve come away with a point and a clean sheet but we were after the three points.”
