New predicted League One table after Bradford City, Barnsley & Huddersfield Town boosts and Doncaster Rovers blow

Opta have predicted where the likes of Bradford City, Barnsley and Huddersfield Town will finish in the League One table.

There was a Yorkshire derby at the Accu Stadium, where Huddersfield hosted Rotherham. It was a meeting of two clubs with disenchanted fanbases and the Terriers emerged as 1-0 winners.

It was an interesting afternoon at Oakwell, where Barnsley claimed a 2-1 win over Exeter City in a game briefly disrupted by a fan protest. A group of supporters threw tennis balls on the pitch, which Reds boss Conor Hourihane claimed had an impact on his players.

Doncaster Rovers made the long trip down to Home Park only to lose 2-1 to Plymouth Argyle, with manager Grant McCann left to rue the conceding of “very soft goals”.

Bradford City hosted Leyton Orient and were fired to a 2-1 win by an Antoni Sarcevic brace, although did lose Aden Baldwin to a red card.

Away from Yorkshire, Cardiff City lost to Lincoln City in a battle of League One high-fliers. Blackpool shared the spoils with Wigan Athletic, AFC Wimbledon defeated Northampton Town and Bolton Wanderers squeezed past Wycombe Wanderers.

Luton Town’s struggles continued with a 3-2 defeat to Reading and Stevenage clinched three points away at Burton Albion.

Following the latest results, here is how the Opta supercomputer expects the final League One table will look.
