Bradford City: Home Vale test first for Bantams

BRADFORD CITY will begin their new League One campaign at home with Port Vale the visitors to Yorkshire on Saturday, August 6.

Back-to-back away games then await the Bantams - at Peterborough United on Saturday, August 13 and at relegated MK Dons on Tuesday, August 16.

Bradford will end their season at Rochdale on Sunday, April 30, eight days after a home clash with newly-promoted AFC Wimbledon.

Boxing Day presents a home clash with near neighbours Scunthorpe United, with the Blades away at Bury on New Year’s Eve.

Bradford then travel to League Two champions Northampton Town on Monday, January 2,

The first eagerly-awaited Yorkshire derby with League One favourites Sheffield United takes place at Valley Parade on Saturday, October 22.

The return fixture is Bradford’s third-last game, at Bramall Lane on Monday, April 17.

Bradford’s first clash with Millwall is at Valley Parade on Saturday, September 3, with the return fixture taking place on Saturday, January 21.
