Bradford City v Burton Albion: Friendships on hold as Bantams seek top six
The 28-year-old goalkeeper left Bradford for Burton Albion in the summer of 2014 after making 125 appearances for the club, with financial constraints preventing him from agreeing fresh terms, prompting his decision to move on.
McLaughlin was a vital cog in the Burton side who were crowned League Two champions last term and has carried on from where he left off with some outstanding performances this season for the Brewers, who are well placed to seal back-to-back promotions.

Darby said: “Jon is having a great season and is a good lad and a good pro, but we hope to catch him on an off night on Tuesday.
“He deserves a great reception and I am sure the fans will give him that, but once the game starts we will be looking to get one over on him.
“It’s a big game for us and we will put our friendship to one side until after the game. Hopefully we can build on Saturday’s performance.
