Alan Connell scored a last-minute penalty for Bradford to keep alive their faint hopes of reaching the League Two play-offs.
Connell dispatched the penalty after Zavon Hines was fouled in the box by Terrell Forbes.
Kieron Cadogan’s goal on the stroke of half-time looked like settling the matter for the struggling Shots.
The salavaged point for the League Cup finalists means Bradford are now nine points adrift of the top six with 11 games remaining, two of those being games in hand.
