Chesterfield 0 Bradford City 1: Bantams march closer to play-offs
BRADFORD CITY moved up to eighth in League One as a 1-0 success at struggling Chesterfield sealed the club’s seventh league win in 11 games.
The match looked to be heading for a goalless draw until Tony McMahon netted the winner 18 minutes from time.
City are now only behind sixth-placed Peterborough United on goal difference and also have a game in hand.
Delighted Bantams boss Phil Parkinson beamed: “We should have scored three or four. We dominated from the first minute and it was a very good away performance.”
