Championship

Team news: Jermaine Beckford is hoping to be fit after missing the win at Bristol City. Otherwise, though, Mark Robins has no fresh injury concerns. For Barnsley, Stephen Dawson is available after a three-match suspension. Rory Delap could return after a calf injury kept the loanee out of the last eight games, while Jacob Mellis is fit.

Hull City v Cardiff City

Team news: Robert Koren is rated as only 50-50 to be fit enough to take his place on the bench after spending this week once again troubled by a calf problem. Gedo is out, while Craig Bellamy has been ruled out for Cardiff City with an Achilles problem. Less heartening news for City, however, is that former striker Fraizer Campbell is fit to play after recovering from a shin problem.

Team news: Jermaine Johnson (hamstring) is 50-50 for the Owls and Reda Johnson (foot) could also be in contention. Loanees Sammy Ameobi and Josh McEachran have returned to their parent clubs and George Friend, Seb Hines and Lukas Jutkiewicz are out for Boro with Jonathan Woodgate facing a late fitness test.

Watford v Leeds United

Team news: United will be without El-Hadji Diouf and Rodolph Austin through suspension after the duo were sent off in last weekend’s home defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, Austin’s appeal against his red card for tripping Ashley Barnes having failed. Sam Byram will be another absentee after failing to recover from the hip injury that the teenager suffered during the warm-up to the Seagulls game.

Burton Albion (3) v (2) Bradford City

Team news: Kyel Reid could again make an appearance from the bench after his cameo in the first leg on Thursday. Burton manager Gary Rowett withdrew goalscorer Calvin Zola in the second half to ensure he will be fit to Sunday’s second leg.
