Is Bristol City v Sheffield United on TV? Channel and streaming details for Championship clash at Ashton Gate
Sheffield United will be looking to put Good Friday disappointment behind them with a positive result on the road at Bristol City.
Swansea City visited Bramall Lane and roared back from two goals down to claim a 3-3 draw.
It was another bitter blow for Chris Wilder’s side, who have slid down the Championship table after briefly sparking hope of a play-off push.
Post-match, a furious Wilder vowed to change the club’s culture ahead of the 2026/27 season.
He said: “Until we have that opportunity to change the culture around and get the recruitment right for next year, which we will do, and embed that steel in us, which possibly can only get done when the season’s finished.
“In terms of decisions by me, the players that I don’t think are going to be on the journey next year.
“Physically and the mentality. They’re going to suffer pre-season, because we’ll get it right.”
Sheffield United will be facing a Bristol City side who have also seen hopes of a push for the top six fade. The Robins recently parted with Gerhard Struber in an attempt to arrest their struggles, installing former England manager Roy Hodgson as their interim boss.
He led the club to a victory over Charlton Athletic on Good Friday and will be hoping to compound Sheffield United’s misery.
