Dagenham & Redbridge v Huddersfield Town: Town need no more reinforcements

LEE CLARK does not plan to delve into the transfer market before next month’s deadline due to his belief that Huddersfield have sufficient quality to win promotion.

The Terriers manager has been one of the busiest in League One during the past 18 months or so thanks to the financial backing of Dean Hoyle.

But, ahead of tonight’s trip to Dagenham & Redbridge, Clark said: “Nothing is planned (before the emergency loan window closes). I believe we have good continuity at the minute. We are on a good run and the team is in a bit of rhythm.”

Town boast the third tier’s only remaining unbeaten record in 2011 after Danny Cadamarteri’s 89th-minute strike was enough to rescue a point at promotion rivals Bournemouth last Saturday.

Despite that, Clark warned: “Dagenham will make it very difficult for us. I have been stressing to the players that we have to be up for the battle because if we aren’t then we will get nowhere.”

Full-back Gary Naysmith is a doubt with the calf injury that saw the defender substituted at Dean Court.

Last six games: Dagenham & Rebridge WLWDWL, Huddersfield Town LWWWDD.

Referee: G Scott (Oxfordshire).

Last time: Never met.
