Brad Halliday – did his job defensively but offered little going forward 6

Joe Wright – the best of the Doncaster defenders, he played a couple of good long passes in the first half 7

Tom Anderson – solid as ever at the back 6

Cameron John – struggled a little before his withdrawal but by no means the only one in a poor first half 5

Matt Smith – whether it was because he had company or not, the midfielder was probably more of an influence in the opening 45 minutes 6
