Doncaster Rovers goalkeeper signs new deal with League One club - after being rewarded by Grant McCann
TEENAGE Doncaster Rovers goalkeeper Jake Oram has signed a one-year contract with the League One club.
There is an option to extend the deal by a further year at Rovers, who announced their first close-season signing earlier this week in the shape of Ipswich Town winger Leon Ayinde.
Rovers’ academy product Oram, 19, was afforded a landmark moment on the final day of 2025-26 when he made his senior debut in the final match of the League One campaign - coming off the bench in the 83rd minute during the away fixture at Peterborough United, the former club of manager Grant McCann.
The Rotherham-born custodian spent time on loan last season at non-league outfits Bradford Park Avenue, Matlock Town and Hallam FC.

He had a previous temporary spell at Liversedge.
On the deal, Rovers goalkeeper coach Kyle Letheren said: "Jake has worked incredibly hard and thoroughly deserves this contract.
"To make his senior debut at 19 is no easy feat, and the composure he showed when he came on at Peterborough was a real testament to his character and ability.
"He's exactly the type of young player we want to build this club around, and he has a huge future here at Doncaster.
"We're delighted to have him signed up and we're excited to see him kick on and develop further over the coming season."
