Gomes, who was named League One player of the month for September, was absent from Rovers’ defeat at Plymouth Argyle with a muscle strain.

Richards has missed the last two outings after picking up a niggle in training and last played when Doncaster beat Ipswich Town 4-1 on October 20.

"I can't say much as we haven't trained yet but I am very hopeful that all those players will be back with the squad for Saturday's game," said manager Moore.

"That is hopefully the aim today and then we will have a few more bodies to pick and choose from going forward.

"All the players here play a hugely significant role, especially with the games coming thick and fast as they are.

"Having the ability to rotate is going to be very important for us."

Doncaster head into Saturday's contest with Lincoln on the back of consecutive defeats, after they followed their loss 2-1 against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday with defeat by the same scoreline in Plymouth on Tuesday night.

Rovers sit just outside the top-six, having played a game fewer than most of the sides above them.

Overall, Moore has been pleased with his side's start to the campaign and doesn't see a reason to change their approach against Lincoln.

"It has been lapses in concentration that have cost us dearly, at both ends of the pitch," added Moore.

"In terms of our performances, the other night there were some excellent bits to our game but there were parts we weren't so good at.

"And those parts we weren't good at were down to lapses in concentration. It is important we continue doing what we have been doing.

"We need to keep a mental focus on the game, that is the biggest thing really when analysing the last couple of games."
