Doncaster Rovers signing: Former Cheltenham Town winger Jordan Thomas joins as Luke Molyneux closes in on exit
DONCASTER Rovers have completed the signing of ex-Cheltenham Town winger Jordan Thomas – as Luke Molyneux puts the finishing touches to his move to Salford City.
Thomas, who has signed a three-year deal, becomes the club’s ninth summer signing and links up with ex-Robins team-mates Hakeeb Adelakun and Isaac Hutchinson.
The 25-year-old, linked with a number of higher division clubs over the last few seasons, has joined on a free transfer after he moved on under freedom of contract after his deal at Whaddon Road expired.
He scored eight goals and provided six assists across all competitions last season, and was named the club's Player of the Season.

Thomas began his career in the Oxford United academy before joining National League South club Bath City in 2023. He scored 10 goals in 28 appearances for the club, helping them reach the play-offs.
Thomas said: "“I had a really good conversation with the gaffer before signing and from there I knew that this was the place that I wanted to be.
"The club is really going in the right direction and I’m very excited to be a part of that, I think this is a really positive step for me in my career and I’m looking forward to making an impact.”
Manager Grant McCann said: "Jordan is a very dynamic wide player who likes to get at people and express himself. He’s a very confident young player in terms of when he’s on the football pitch and a really pleasant lad off it.
"His career has been on a real upward trajectory going from the National League to League Two and now League One with us, so we’re excited to help him continue his progression."
