Doncaster Rovers 3 Chesterfield 0: Dominant Rovers quickly make amends
Second-half goals from 33-year-old Tyson, Andy Williams and Cameron Stewart saw the dominant hosts bounce back from their 2-0 defeat to Rochdale on a cold winter’s night at the Keepmoat Stadium to draw level on points with Chesterfield.
Rovers held the ball for large parts of the first half, but failed to penetrate a resolute Spireites’ defence as they were reduced to audacious shots from range.

The hosts upped the tempo after the break, with their loanees stealing the show. Everton’s Felipe Mattioni weaved his way down the left before his cross struck Daniel Jones’s hand.
Tommy Lee superbly saved Tyson’s spot-kick to his right before the striker poked home the rebound for his first goal of the season.
Williams slotted home his eighth of the season and Ipswich loanee Stewart capped off a counter-attack with a calm finish.
