Port Vale 3 Doncaster Rovers 0: Stuckmann helps Rovers avoid thrashing
Paul Dickov’s Doncaster Rovers were crushed 3-0 at Port Vale in League One.
Doncaster goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann saved Sam Foley’s early penalty, and was the difference between a 3-0 scoreline and a cricket score.
Foley did beat Stuckmann with a header on 35 minutes before Uche Ikpeazu made it 2-0.
Byron Moore’s late goal simply rubbed salt into Rovers’ wounds.
