Premier League

Hull City v West Ham United

Team news: Maynor Figueroa is back in the fray after missing the Newcastle win on compassionate grounds. Robbie Brady is a doubt with a persistent stomach injury - with Steve Bruce revealing that a hernia operation a possibilty. Paul McShane is back in training, but James Chester (hamstring) and Robbie Koren (foot) are out.

Championship

Leicester City v Barnsley

Team news: Jack Butland will make his debut after joining on loan from Stoke City, with boss David Flitcroft picking from strength this afternoon. Also in contention is David Fox, after the midfielder arrived on a three-month loan yesterday from Norwich City. Wingers Patrick McCourt and Dale Jennings are among those who are available and hoping to start, with Flitcroft set to make several changes after a poor defensive showing in last weekend’s heavy loss to Watford to reinvigourate his side. Marcus Pedersen (heel) is still out, but could be available on Tuesday.

Millwall v Leeds United

Team news: Lee Peltier, Tom Lees and Luke Varney all return for Leeds. Brian McDermott faces a potential selection quandary, with teenager Alex Mowatt having made strong claims to keep his place at Newcastle ahead of £1m summer signing Luke Murphy. Millwall centre-back Mark Beevers has been ruled out for at least six weeks with knee ligament damage. The 23-year-old former Sheffield Wednesday defender, who has been an ever-present this season, sustained the injury in the 1-0 win at Charlton.

QPR v Middlesbrough

Team news: Tony Mowbray will turn to 20-year-old defended Ben Gibson to deputise for captain Rhys Williams, who serves a one-match suspension. Seb Hines has returned to training and although Mowbray has been impressed by his application, he does not intend to rush the utlitiy player back. Midfielder Matthew Dolan has had his loan spell at Hartlepool extended by a further month.

Sheffield Wednesday v Doncaster Rovers

Team news: Wednesday’s Anthony Gardner is out long-term, while Lewis Buxton (leg) is a doubt. Chris Maguire (toe) has had a scan after training ground injury. Doncaster’s Harry Forrester is out for six weeks after tearing his quad.

League One

Bradford City v Shrewsbury Town

Team news: The Bantams boast a virtual fully-fit squad to choose from with Carl McHugh now back in the fray. Shrewsbury are without midfielder Jon Taylor, who serves an automatic ban for his red card in Saturday’s 1-0 home derby defeat by neighbours Wolves.

Rotherham United v Peterborough United

Team news: The Millers are without the injured Claude Davis, David Worrall and Michael O’Connor. On-loan striker Tom Eaves impressed on his debut at Walsall last Saturday and the Bolton forward could push Daniel Nardiello for a starting place.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sheffield United

Team news: Blades duo Jamie Murphy (groin) and Shaun Miller (knee) are back in training but will not be risked. Former Crewe striker Miller has not played since picking up cruciate ligament damage on Boxing Day last season.Promising youngster Callum McFadzean (ankle) also misses out against a Wolves side featuring former Blade Kevin McDonald.

League Two

York City v Portsmouth

Team news: Having picked up their first point for five games, Nigel Worthington can go with the same squad agains as York City have no new injury or suspension concerns. Ryan Brobbel plays the last match of his initial one-month loan spell.
