Tyson remains positive despite poor home run
Rovers’ run without a home victory extended to eight matches in the 0-0 draw with Crawley Town on Tuesday night, in front of a crowd of 5,197 – the club’s lowest in the league since moving to the Keepmoat in January, 2007.
The result leaves Rovers in 18th spot in League One, but Tyson has been around in the game long enough to feel confident that with the season still in its relative infancy and Rovers still a work in progress, things will turn.

“There’s a long way to go. In these leagues, you can have a run at the end of the season and find yourselves in the play-offs.
“I know it is frustrating for the fans, but bear with us. We have got a very tight squad and are working on things. The win will come.”
He added: “We have got to look at the positive side of things. After conceding five goals in the past two games, we have kept a clean sheet.

“A few of us had chances and we have got to put them away. But at least we are getting them.”
Tuesday proved an exercise in frustration for Paul Dickov, in the 200th competitive game of his managerial career.
The former Oldham chief took solace from a first clean sheet at home since March 22, but on the debit side, there was a defined lack of offensive options at his disposal to try and conjure a win.

Dickov, who did not use any replacements, added: “I think it was plain to see. Yes, we would like more options and, hopefully, Curtis is not too far away, which gives us another and obviously, we were without Harry and that is two out of our main four or five goal threats we were without.
“But the pleasing thing was the clean sheet and the boys kept going and tried to get the win against Crawley.”
