Ex-Huddersfield Town boss new favourite for Bournemouth job, Liverpool tipped to trust starlet

Huddersfield Town made it seven games without a win last weekend, when they were held to a 1-1 draw with Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.

The result sees the Terriers continue their worrying slide down the table, and they finished the weekend in 17th place - just five points away from the relegation zone.

Speaking after the match, manager Carlos Corberan admitted that Luton had deserved to share the points, and claimed: "We wanted to take the three points, but at the same time they thought they could be close to the goal, too, but at the end I think the draw was the normal result."

“It’s so difficult to control this game, in terms of the pitch, the conditions and the emotions of these types of games. We created some good opportunities, but at the same time we had to defend very strong with a lot of attention from the set-pieces they create because we know that they are good at them.”

Next up, Huddersfield return to Championship action on Saturday afternoon, when they take on bottom of the table Wycombe Wanderers at the John Smith's Stadium, in what will be a must-win game for the Terriers.

Here's our round-up of all the latest news and transfer chat, involving Huddersfield Town and a number of other Championship sides.
