HARROGATE TOWN forward Abraham Odoh will join League One outfit Peterborough United when the summer window opens next month.

Posh have agreed a deal with the Sulphurites, which will see the 23-year-old join for an undisclosed fee.

London-born Odoh joined Harrogate less than 12 months ago from Rochdale and impressed in scoring 10 goals in all competitions for Simon Weaver’s side last term.

Manager Weaver said: “Abraham has been a fantastic signing for the football club in the time he has been with us. He leaves having played a lot of football for us and having improved as a footballer.

"As a football club, we always aim to provide a platform for young lads with aspirations to go higher. We should celebrate the achievement of Abraham to get to that level.

"He is a humble lad, he always has a smile on his face. On the pitch, you can see he wants to learn and to entertain, so we wish him the very best of luck.”

Odoh, who hails from Lambeth, started his career in non-league circles with Edgware Town and Tooting and Mitcham United before linking up with Charlton Athletic.

He moved to Rochdale in early 2021 and spent just over two years with the Red Rose club before moving across to the other side of the Pennines.
