Favourites to join Bradford City in summer including Blackpool, Leeds United and Barrow men

Blackpool, Leeds United and Barrow men are among the favourites to join Bradford City in the summer transfer window.

It has been a turbulent campaign for the Bantams, who have failed to bounce back from their play-off heartbreak last season. Mark Hughes paid the price for an underwhelming start to the season with his job and Graham Alexander has not overseen the upturn required to salvage the campaign.

Fans staged a protest ahead of the recent win over Tranmere Rovers and a significant improvement will be required to get fans back on side. if the club are to avoid a repeat of this season’s struggles, a summer of shrewd transfer business will be required.

Although his stock has dropped at Forest Green Rovers, defender Dabo has vast experience of higher levels in the EFL.

Sonny Carey - 9/1

The midfielder has slipped down the pecking order at Blackpool since the turn of the year and an offer of regular minutes could prove tempting.

Omar Bogle - 11/1

Newport County marksman Bogle is a seasoned forward with an impressive track record on the fourth rung of the English football ladder.

Elliot Watt - 12/1

The midfielder is already familiar with the Valley Parade faithful, having represented the Bantams between 2020 and 2022. Since leaving Bradford, he has amassed 87 appearances for Salford City.

Ben Whitfield - 14/1

The Barrow playmaker cut his teeth within Bradford City’s academy, although never went on to represent the Bantams at senior level. A move back to the club would mark a full-circle moment.

Morten Spencer - 14/1

The defensive midfielder has represented Leeds United at both under-21 and under-18 level but has not been afforded a first-team debut. A move further down the EFL could potentially get his senior career up and running.
