FC Shay pitch proves unplayable again

FC Halifax Town’s problems with The Shay pitch have returned with tonight’s match with play-off rivals Eastleigh falling victim to the weather.

An inspection yesterday afternoon revealed the the surface was unplayable.

It is the second time that the Eastleigh fixture has been postponed with the original game due to have been played last month.

Halifax have suffered several postponements this winter and recently had to move an  FA Trophy replay to Droylsden due to The Shay being frozen.
