Harrogate Town striker Danilo Orsi leaves to join League Two newcomers Grimsby Town

HARROGATE TOWN forward Danilo Orsi has joined League Two newcomers Grimsby Town in a permanent deal.

The 26-year-old joined Harrogate from Maidenhead United last summer following a 2020-21 season which saw him score over 20 goals and won the manager’s player of the year and

supporter’s player of the year accolade.

Orsi struggled to become a regular at Wetherby Road, although did manage to score six goals in 14 appearances.

The highlight came in just his second appearance for the club early last season when he netted a hat-trick in the club's 3-1 victory over Mansfield Town in their opening Papa John's Trophy group fixture.

Orsi returned to his native London to join National League outfit Boreham Wood on loan at the start of the January transfer window and netted twice during his time with the club.
