The Terriers somewhat disrupted the home side’s strong start to the season thanks to first half goals from Harry Bunn and Sean Scannell as well as a 30-yard strike from Conor Coady following the break.
Huddersfield were fortunate to avoid going behind early on with Sam Ricketts hitting the post before Nouha Dicko and Yannick Sagbo both missed good chances to make their team’s first half dominance count.
Bunn ensured Wolves were made to pay when he volleyed home Grant Holt’s cut back to put his side ahead in the 21st minute. The away team extended their lead five minutes before half-time when Scannell picked up a loose ball before beating Carl Ikeme from inside the box.
