HIGHLIGHTS: Doncaster Rovers 2 Cheltenham Town 0 - See how Doncaster maintained their push for promotion
Rovers took the lead on 23 minutes, after a swift free-kick from Matty Blair caused panic in the visitors’ defence - John Marquis had the first chance - and Andy Butler was lurking to smash the ball home.
Rovers secured all three points with a second goal, and it was the impressive Alfie May who created it. The youngster surged forward, and when the ball found Marquis, the striker fired home low inside Brown’s right-hand post.

“It was a case of keeping our concentration. Apart from the opening five or 10 minutes when Cheltenham had a few corners, I felt it was a professional performance from the team.
