Ramani Edmonds-Green – battled hard as a third centre-back 6

Richard Keogh – did his best to stem the flow 6

Naby Sarr – two goalline clearances to prevent Barnsley scoring a second 7

Aaron Rowe – had his hands full with Callum Styles, but he was not a massive influence whilst the youngster was on 6

Jonathan Hogg – a typical combative performance which saw him finish in a back three 7

Juninho Bacuna – not the easiest game for him to have an impact in 6

Lewis O'Brien – missed Huddersfield's only real chance of the second half 6

Duane Holmes – unable to attack much from wing-back 6

Josh Koroma – an unrealised threat in behind, it was asking a lot to keep it up in the second half after so long out 6

Yaya Sanogo – competed really well as the Town targetman 7.

Sorba Thomas (for Edmonds-Green, 69) – it was his ball which fell for O'Brien 6

Danny Ward (for Koroma, 69) – a difficult situation to turn around when he came on 5

Barnsley

Brad Collins – little to do, though he did come off his line well at one point to set up an attack 6

Michael Sollbauer – the star performer with his assured defending 8

Michail Helik – hit the bar with a second-half header 7

Mads Andersen – played his part in a clean sheet 7

Callum Brittain – not at his most influential 6

Alex Mowatt – a free-kick just wide in a lively performance 7

Romal Palmer – backed up Mowatt in midfield 6

Callum Styles – grew in influence as the game reached its conclusion 7

Dominik Frieser – a weak toe poke at Schofield and a dangerous long throw before limping off in first-half added time 6

Cauley Woodrow – worked hard wearing down the home defence 6

Carlton Morris – made good use of a rare start but would have loved a goal, only to be denied one by Sarr 7.
