However, they took a 40th minute lead when Jamie McCombe headed home from a free-kick.
Gudjonsson replaced Antony Robinson and Lee Novak came on for Lee in the 64th minute.
Jordan Rhodes headed home seven minutes later but was ruled offside.

Hide AdRhodes was not to be denied and chipped the goalkeeper in the 85th minute to make the game safe, as Town leapfrogged Sheffield Wednesday, who do not play until Sunday.
