Huddersfield Town announce Nigel Clibbens departure
Clibbens had presided over day-to-day operations at the John Smith’s Stadium for the past seven years, having moved to the club in December 2008.
On Clibbens, who Hoyle brought to the club from accountancy firm Grant Thornton, the Town chief said: “I would like to place on record my thanks to Nigel for his dedicated work on behalf of the club.

“He played a big role in helping the club progress off the field, as well as on the pitch through promotion back to the second tier.
“He leaves with my best wishes for the future.
“Change is something that you have to be prepared for in football and the club will now begin its search for a new chief executive.
“At a time when David Wagner is overseeing a transformation of life on the pitch at Huddersfield Town, we’ll look to bring someone in to lead a new chapter off it.”
