Huddersfield Town interim coach provides updates on Alfie May, Joe Low & Ryan Hardie - with season over for two other players
HUDDERSFIELD Town interim assistant head coach Martin Drury has confirmed that Alfie May is back in the first-team fray for Saturday's League One home game against Michael Duff's Wycombe Wanderers - but Cameron Ashia and Josh Feeney are set to miss the rest of the season.
May is available after recovering from a foot issue that forced him to miss the Bank Holiday Monday win at Leyton Orient.
But Feeney, who sustained an injury during the warm-up at Orient, has returned to his parent club Aston Villa for treatment and will be out for a good spell.
Ashia, who has impressed from the bench in a breakthrough campaign, has been ruled out for the rest of 2025-26 with a groin injury.

Drury said: "It's unfortunate news with Josh. He's got an issue that (means) he'll go back to Aston Villa and get treatment back there.
"He'll probably struggle to play again for at least another five to six weeks, I'm led to believe.
"It's disappointing for Josh and disappointing for us because he's been brilliant, whether he's started games or whenever he's been called upon. He's a top lad and we've loved working with him.
"So, yes, that's disappointing news for everybody.

"I think it'll be difficult for Cam to be back on the pitch this season.
"I had a good conversation with Cam the other day. Such a great character. He's disappointed, of course."
Loanee Ryan Hardie is progressing in his rehabilitation, but is still not ready for a first-team return.
Drury added: "Ryan's obviously in his rehab, it's probably not settled as quickly as we would have liked and probably as quickly as Ryan would have liked.
"He's chomping at the bit to try and get amongst it again. Of course, he's a big miss for us, he's a fantastic player.
"He's been brilliant around the place as well, so we're still on with that one. It'll probably take a little bit longer."
Better news, alongside May, has been reported regarding defender Joe Low, who is 'really close' to a return after being out since late January with a calf injury.
Drury added: "Joe's been brilliant in terms of his rehab. He works really, really hard and Joe is really close.
"We'd like to have Joe back involved particularly, whether it be this weekend or Tuesday. So, credit to him and again the medical team for the condition that he's coming back in.
"We had a session with him the day after the Leyton Orient game. Joe's been brilliant, both from a footballing perspective, but also his attitude towards everything. So, he's really, really close.
"We'll have Alfie May back amongst us. He had a problem with his foot, which has settled down. He's trained this week.
"He was excellent in training today, so Alfie will come back into the mix for the weekend."
