Huddersfield Town ready late move for divisional rival's striker, Millwall eye ex-Man City starlet swoop

Sheffield Wednesday picked up a vital three points last weekend, when they edged past Preston 1-0 at Hillsborough courtesy of a first-half goal from Liam Palmer.

Huddersfield Town were unable to turn a dominant display into a match-winning one last weekend, when they were held 1-1 by Stoke City at the John Smith's Stadium, despite the visitors being reduced to ten men before half-time.The Terriers had a whopping 72% of possession, and took 18 shots to the Potters' seven, but couldn't find the cutting edge required to bag the three points.Manager Carlos Corberan was far from happy with the result, and told the Yorkshire Post: "We did not get the result we deserved or wanted. I think one point was not enough for us today and we cannot be happy. This is a result that cannot be enough for us.”"I think we did enough in the first half, especially in the first 25 minutes when we were dominating the opponent. But we then made some mistakes in attack today that stopped us creating more chances and to have a clean sheet."Meanwhile, it's transfer deadline today, and it will be fascinating to see whether the Terriers can get any late deals over the line. Here's our latest round-up of all the news and transfer talk involving Huddersfield Town and a number of their divisional rivals:
