Despite scoring in added time at the end of the first half to go into the break at 1-1, the Terriers responded superbly, scoring three goals within the space of ten minutes after the restart.
Speaking after the win, the Terriers manager discussed the impact of January signing Duan Holmes, who scored twice in the second-half, and claimed: "For Holmes, it was important for him to have this performance today.
“He shows he is adapting to the team. It takes a bit of time sometimes, especially for him to play so many games in a row because before he arrived here he didn’t have enough minutes. Sometimes the player needs a little bit of time to adapt and perform like he did today."
Meanwhile, it was a weekend of mixed fortunes for the rest of Yorkshire's Championship sides, with Barnsley winning their third game on the bounce to keep up their momentum on the race for the play-offs, while relegation candidates Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham United were both defeated.
Here are today's biggest transfer stories and the latest team news involving Huddersfield and the rest of the Championship sides from Yorkshire and beyond, as we gear up for the midweek action.
