Huddersfield Town striker Bojan Radulovic on shared experiences with good friend Radinio Balker

DURING their time together at Huddersfield Town, Bojan Radulovic and Radinio Balker have shared plenty of experiences - good and bad.

The duo, who joined the Terriers in the 2024 transfer window, have become good friends in the process.

After some testing times at the club in their first season and a half in West Yorkshire, things took a turn for the better last season.

Former Serbia under-19 striker Radulovic, who spent the second half of 24-25 on loan at Dutch outfit Fortuna Sittard, looked destined for pastures new last summer - only for a renaissance season to transpire.

When he was fit and flying, the ex- HJK Helsinki player looked to be Town's most accomplished striker.

At the other end of the pitch, Suriname international Balker was arguably the Terriers' stand-out presence in the backline and added composure with his ball-playing abilities.

Balker's performances were rewarded earlier this month by virtue of a one-year contract extension with the club, with the centre-half now contracted at the Accu Stadium until the summer of 2028.

Both Balker and Radulovic are likely to be key players for Martin Drury in 2026-27 as Town seek to display their promotion credentials over the course of the piece after a disappointing past two campaigns following relegation from the Championship at the end of 2023-24.

On coming out on the other side at Town and the importance of his friendship with Balker, Radulovic told The Yorkshire Post: "Sometimes when you move in a team, you always have one, two or probably three players or people you are more at home with in terms of each other.

"Since we came here, we have been coming in or driving together (into training) almost every day. Of course, we experienced injuries together as well.

"We spent a lot of time (together) and yes, that helped us build a good relationship where we understand each other on and off the pitch.

"And yes, I'm really glad to have met him. He's a really nice guy and hopefully we can share more minutes and experiences during this chapter, of course."
