Huddersfield Town v Rotherham United: Togetherness can bring Millers their reward, says Warne
Warne takes his Millers team to the John Smith’s Stadium this evening and he, like countless others in the footballing fraternity, has been energised and enthused by Town’s remarkable success story of the past year.
Warne, who is likely to make several changes this evening, said: “I remember when we played there (last season) and they were clapping their fans and it was a bit like Iceland (national team).

“I believe my group have really engaged with the fans as well and I think that’s what happened at Huddersfield.
“Even though we lost 2-1 on Saturday, the fact that they got clapped off is a big deal to me and the team.
“Huddersfield are a really tight-knit group and to get through the way they did last season showed a bit of resilience and I’’d like to think that my group will be not a poorer version, but a similar one.”

On four-goal Moore, who joined the Millers on a season-long loan, Warne added: “If we could put a bid in which would attract Ipswich and if the player wanted to stay and everything was right, then I would. But I am in no immediate rush.”
Warne is expecting to complete the signing of a new defender before Saturday’s League One game with Charlton, with another newcomer likely to arrive over the course of the weekend.
Town boss David Wagner will make a raft of changes this evening, with the likes of Laurent Depoitre, Scott Malone and Jordan Williams expected to be handed competitive debuts.
