HUDDERSFIELD TOWN winger Sean Scannell is on the verge of sealing a switch to Bradford City.

The 27-year-old, the Terriers’ longest-serving player, is at Valley Parade tonight for the Bantams’ friendly with Sheffield United.

Talks between the two West Yorkshire clubs took place earlier this week and agreement was reached over what is understood to be a permanent switch.

Scannell, Player of the Year at the John Smith’s Stadium in 2015-16, will become City’s 12th signing of the summer under new head coach Michael Collins.

Providing there is no last minute hitch, Scannell will become the second Huddersfield player to move to Valley Parade inside 24 hours after Jack Payne yesterday agreed a loan switch.
