Hull City 1 Leicester City 0: Latest from KCOM Stadium
The Uruguayan striker fired in from close range after Kasper Schmeichel had only been able to palm a Curtis davies header into his path.
It came a couple of minutes after a stunning double block by Eldin Jakupovic and makeshift centre half Jake Livermore had kept the champions out at the other end.

Hide AdFor much of a tight first half, Leicester City were well contained but the visitors finally showed their quality just before the break when Christian Fuchs was played through.
Jakupovic saved and then Livermore somehow pulled off another block moments later as Jamie Vardy followed up with another shot.
Vardy’s frustrating first 45 minutes was then underlined when he blazed over after being picked out by Ahmed Musa just before the half-time whistle blew.
And it was made worse when Hernandez acrobatically fired in to send the Tigers in ahead.

Once the game got under way, however, Hull settled quickly. Curtis davies came close to opening the scoring with as flicked header from a corner, while Robert Snodgrass should have got a shot away following great work by Andrew Robertson and Adama Diomande.
City’s tactics were to sit deep in the hope that the pace of Jamie Vardy and Ahmed MJusa could be nullified.
It meant chances were few and far between for the champions in the opening 45 minutes with Danny Drinkwater going closest with a shot that flzzed just wide.

Hide AdVardy did have decent opening but he totally missed the ball after being picked out by Musa, much to the amusement of the home fans.
Worse followed for the England striker just before half-time to ensure when Hernandez scored that it was enough to put the hosts ahead.
