Hull City confirm Crawley Town loan move for ex-Bradford City prospect Nathan Tinsdale
Hull City have sanctioned an EFL loan move for a promising young midfielder
Hull City prospect Nathan Tinsdale has joined League Two outfit Crawley Town on a season-long loan deal.
The 21-year-old midfielder, formerly of Bradford City’s academy, linked up with the Tigers in 2023 after impressing during a trial period.
He has since made two senior appearances, featuring once in the Championship and once in the Carabao Cup.
Hull’s promotion to the Premier League has only made it harder for young fringe players to break through and Tinsdale has now been given the chance to build experience out on loan.

Nathan Tinsdale makes loan move
He will spend the duration of the 2026/27 campaign with Crawley, who narrowly avoided relegation to the National League last term.
Tinsdale will be working under former Sheffield United forward Colin Kazim-Richards, who took charge of Crawley in March.
He has already been given his first outing in Crawley colours, having featured in their friendly loss to Reading last Night (July 31).
The midfielder has been unveiled as a new addition alongside Nicholas Michalski and Osman Kamara, who have both joined Crawley on loan from Blackburn Rovers.
Hull City statement
A statement issued by Hull read: “Young midfielder Nathan Tinsdale has joined League Two side Crawley Town on a season-long loan.
“The 20-year-old, who had his one-year option exercised by the club in the summer, made his first team debut last season for the Tigers as a late substitute in the opening-day draw away at Coventry City.

“Making his first start for the Tigers in the EFL Cup first round away at Wrexham, the former Bradford City midfielder recently featured in both pre-season friendlies against Konyaspor and Çaykur Rizespor, recording an assist against the former for Enis Destan’s header.
“Crawley Town, managed by Colin Kazim-Richards, remained in the EFL by finishing 22nd last season, and begin their 2026/27 campaign with an away fixture against York City on Monday 3 August in the qualifying round of the EFL Cup. We would like to wish Nathan the best of luck in his loan at Crawley.”
