Hull City player ratings: Some excellent marks in a fine collective display - and response - from the Tigers against Wrexham
HERE are the Hull City player ratings from Wednesday night’s Championship home game against Wrexham at the MKM Stadium.
Pandur: Showed his penchant for saving penalties by denying Moore, just as he thwarted the Wrexham striker’s former Sheffield United team-mate Harrison Burrows at the MKM in the autumn. Has saved three of his last six spot-kicks. 8
Coyle: One mistake aside, this was much better than Friday night. 7
Ajayi: Showed his character after Boro with a much more convincing and authoritative display. 8

Hughes: Strode out of defensive well enough and was sound at the back. 7
Giles: Did well defensively against one of Wrexham’s key outlets in Ryan Barnett. More forward threat on restart and whipped in some terrific crosses, none moreso than for the second goal. 8
Gyabi: Had his moments and went close to a first-half goal. Encouraging. 7
Slater: Held his ground well enough as the responsible deep-lying midfielder. 7

Belloumi: Handed a first start since September 20.Twisted Hyam’s blood for early breakthrough and troubled Wrexham. A real irritant, especially in the first half. 8
Crooks: Big onus on him as City’s senior player. Was on message until he stuck out a leg and tripped Broadhead just inside the box. 7
Ndala: Moments of threat on the left. 7
Joseph: In the right place to stab home his fourth goal of the campaign from close. Soldiered on after a fair bit of treatment in first half after an injury issue. 7
Substitutes: McBurnie (Ndala 63). Predatory goal. 7
Millar (Joseph 63). Hit the bar. 7
Akintola (Belloumi 70). Went close. 7
Hadziahmetovic (Gyabi 81)
Not used: Phillips, Egan, Famewo, Parker, McCarthy.
