The result their four-game winning streak in the league come to an end after previous victories against Doncaster Rovers, Ipswich Town, MK Dons and Burton Albion.

Meanwhile, goals from Tyreece John-Jules and Joe Wright gave Doncaster a 2-0 win at Northampton, who had Shaun McWilliams sent off after 18 minutes.

The result sees Rovers close the gap on sixth-placed Charlton Athletic to three points, with Darren Moore's side playing fewer games than all sides occupying a place in the top six.
