Angus McDonald 7. An excellent sliding block in the first half and a crucial header to deny Hemed in the second

Jordy De Wijs 6. Got an earful for letting Marcus Bonne get free

Callum Elder 7. Hemed peeled to the right to work Elder hard but he still got forward well

Dan Batty 6. Forced a good tip-over in the first half

Herbie Kane 6. Steady and unspectacular

Josh Bowler 5. A miskick and a header wide, albeit when offside

Jon Toral 6. Started well but it was a false dawn for Hull

Mallik Wilks 7. Hull’s most effective player on the left, less so on the right as the game went on

Tom Eaves 5. Not much service, not much impact
