Barnsley FC fixtures for 2020-21 EFL Championship season

GERHARD STRUBER’S Barnsley will start the 2020-21 Championship season with a home encounter against Luton Town at Oakwell on September 12.

The Reds’ first away game is at Reading seven days later and they end September at home to Mark Robins’ Coventry City on September 26.

December promises to be a mouth-watering month for Struber’s side who face derbies against Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United.

Barnsley visit Hillsborough on December 12 and welcome the Terriers on Boxing Day before making the short trip to Rotherham three days later on December 29 to end 2020.

The Reds start 2021 with a long trip to bogey ground Carrow Road to face Norwich.

The Reds host Sheffield Wednesday on March 20 and April sees them fit in derbies against Huddersfield and Rotherham and also entertain Middlesbrough.

Barnsley host Boro on April 10 and head to Huddersfield on April 21 before welcoming the Millers three days later.

Barnsley’s final away fixture of the season is against Preston at Deepdale on May 1 and they end the campaign at home to Norwich on May 8.
