Ipswich Town 2 Doncaster Rovers 1 - Rovers slip to fourth defeat in five games

DONCASTER ROVERS were unable to bring a halt to their recent poor form as they were beaten at Ipswich Town on Saturday afternoon.

RESULT: Ipswich Town 2-1 Doncaster Rovers.

Darren Moore's side have picked up just one point from the last 15 on offer.

Last week, they halted their three-game losing run with a dramatic 3-3 draw against Hull City but were unable to build on that result against Ipswich.

Alan Judge put the hosts ahead from a free-kick midway through the first half before James Norwood doubled the lead soon after the second-half restart.

Jon Taylor pulled a goal back with 17 minutes remaining but Rovers were unable to find another as they slumped to another defeat.

Moore's side are sixth in the League One table and still hold games in hand over the sides above them.
