The summer transfer window has officially closed - and it was a busy one for many of the clubs in England’s third tier.
Sheffield Wednesday were among those to adopt an aggressive approach to the summer window, bringing in a raft of new players to usher in their new era. There were returns to Hillsborough for the likes of Joe Lumley, Barry Bannan and Jaden Heskey, while Jordi Liongola, Ricardo Santos and Louie Barry were among the new faces signed.
Barnsley prioritised youth and promise with their dealings and also managed to retain coveted winger Reyes Cleary.
Huddersfield Town have welcomed nine new faces, while there are 12 new recruits at Bradford City and Doncaster Rovers.
Supporters have spent recent days digesting the busy summer, working out who were the ‘winners’ and ‘losers’.
