Leeds United have been credited with interest in jet-heeled Strasbourg winger Martial Godo.
A former England youth international, Godo spent three years at Fulham after being plucked from non-league outfit Dartford.
Despite showing potential, he failed to become a first-team regular at Craven Cottage and made the bulk of his appearances out on loan at Wigan Athletic.
He left the Cottagers permanently in 2025, sealing a move to Ligue 1 outfit Strasbourg for a fee reported to be in the region of £6m. He has enjoyed a new lease of life in France, sending his value skyrocketing by causing problems for defenders across France. This season, he has registered 14 goals and six assists in 3 7 appearances across all competitions.

Now a senior Ivory Coast international, Godo is thriving and seemingly on the radar of Premier League clubs. According to SportsBoom, Leeds are among those interested in the 23-year-old.
Daniel Farke likes his side to counter quickly and Godo is reportedly viewed as a player would be compatible with the Leeds system.
However, it has also been suggested the left-sided wideman is of interest to Villa and West Ham. Strasbourg are thought to have held meetings with officials from some Premier League clubs last month.

Strasbourg’s talent factory
Retention of Premier League status will give Leeds the chance to be ambitious in the transfer market and Strasbourg well be a club they look to for talent.
The French club, who come under the same ownership umbrella as Chelsea, have been a productive breeding ground for talent in recent years.
However, if Godo was to make the move to Elland Road, he would perhaps have to adapt his role. Leeds’ current system does not feature out-and-out wingers, with width often provided by marauding wing-backs Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson.
The fact Godo is under contract until 2030 could be an added complication, as a hefty fee may be required to secure his services as a result. The report has suggested bargaining could start in the region of €45-50m (£39-43m).
