Leeds United tipped to explore deal for AC Milan's ex-Arsenal prospect Yunus Musah
Leeds United tipped to explore summer deal for AC Milan fringe player Yunus Musah
Leeds United have been tipped to explore a summer move for AC Milan’s Yunus Musah.
A versatile figure comfortable in midfield or at wing-back, Musah has been on the books of the Italian giants since 2023.
He was signed from Valencia for a reported £17.2m and has since racked up 82 appearances for the club. Just two of those were made last season, as he was loaned to fellow Serie A club Atalanta in early September.
An option to buy the 23-year-old has not been taken up by Atalanta and it appears the 47-cap USA international could now be in the shop window.

Leeds United linked with AC Milan’s Yunus Musah
According to former Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers scout Mick Brown, Musah is a player who has been in Leeds’ sights for some time.
He told Football Insider: “Yunus Musah has been on Leeds’ radar for a while. Their owners always seem keen to bring in American players, it’s something they’ve looked at in the past and he could be the latest one on their radar.
“Brenden Aaronson is an example of what I mean there. Daniel Farke is keen to be backed in the summer, he’s spoken out to demand the board shows some ambition, so we can expect them to be busy.
“If Musah is going to become available, I expect Leeds will be one of a few clubs looking at him. Their scouts will know all about him, the positives and the negatives, and it would have been good for them to watch him at the World Cup but he won’t be involved there.
“He hasn’t quite done it at AC Milan, so a change of environment and a change of league could suit him, and he will be keen to play in the Premier League.”
Yunus Musah’s career path
Musah was born in New York and started playing youth football in Italy, but would hardly be in unfamiliar territory if he moved to the Premier League.
He spent the bulk of his academy years in the youth system at Arsenal and has also reprsented England at various youth levels.

Musah left the Gunners for Valencia in 2019, making 108 appearances for the Spanish club before AC Milan came calling.
Not only has he played with Leeds’ Brenden Aaronson at international level, Musah featured alongside Noah Okafor at AC Milan.
